Dr. Timothy Yontz

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Timothy Yontz is Director of Music Education and Conductor of The Wheaton College Symphonic Band at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Illinois. Dr. Yontz holds a Ph.D. in Administration, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nebraska, Master of Music from Butler University, and Bachelor of Music Education from Indiana University. He has served as Associate Director of Bands at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Coordinator of Fine Arts for the Kenosha, Wisconsin, School District, and Director of Bands in Wisconsin and Indiana public schools. Dr. Yontz is a member of the College Band Directors National Association, Music Educators National Conference, National Band Association, and Phi Beta Mu International School Bandmaster Fraternity. He is an active guest conductor, music education clinician, and festival adjudicator (www.timothyyontz.com).
