Dr. Timothy Yontz is Director of Music Education and Conductor of The
Wheaton College Symphonic Band at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. Dr. Yontz holds a Ph.D.
in Administration, Curriculum, and Instruction from the University of Nebraska, Master of Music from Butler University, and
Bachelor of Music Education from Indiana University. He is a member of the College Band Directors National Association, Music
Educators National Conference, National Band Association, and Phi Beta Mu International School Bandmaster Fraternity.
Dr.
Yontz has served as Associate Director of Bands at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Coordinator of Fine Arts for the Kenosha,
Wisconsin, School District, and Director of Bands in Wisconsin and Indiana public schools. He is an active guest conductor,
music education clinician, and festival adjudicator (www.timothyyontz.com). He resides in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, with his wife, Brenna, and children, Brent and
Bess.
