Biography
Timothy Yontz is Associate Professor of Music Education and Director
of Bands for the Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College. Dr. Yontz holds a
Ph.D. in Administration, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of
Nebraska, Master of Music from Butler University, and Bachelor of Music
Education from Indiana University. He has served as Associate Director of Bands
at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Coordinator of Fine Arts for the
Kenosha, Wisconsin, School District, and Director of Bands in Wisconsin and
Indiana public schools. Dr. Yontz is a member of the College Band Directors
National Association, National Association for Music Education, National Band
Association, and Phi Beta Mu International School Bandmaster Fraternity. He is
an active guest conductor, music education clinician, and festival adjudicator
